Can't have too many of these
After trying on my first pair of Go Walk shoes, I knew I was going to wear the heck out of them. The color I really wanted, the black Wavelength (multi-colored soles, very cute) are absolutely sold out by every vendor in the world, so I bought a navy blue pair at a local store and started looking for black.

My size was not available locally, so I ordered from Amazon. They came, they are just as comfortable as my blue pair, and I am mostly happy. . .but they are different in some minor ways.

I didn't notice while ordering, but the pair I ordered is the Go Walk 2. Here are the differences from the original Go Walk:

The fabric is rougher. I don't feel it inside the shoe, but the look on the outside is sportier, and I don't think I will wear them with summer skirts and dresses, as I had planned.

There is something blockier about the look of the shoe. The vamp is higher on the top of the foot and the toe box is slightly wider.

Again, I will wear these shoes happily. But in my search for more colors (yes, this is an obsession now!), I will make sure I buy the original Go Walk version. They are just cuter!

First off I just want to say I just ordered these on friday(before 5pm btw) and recieved them TODAY!(monday)!!.. I accidently ordered 2 and emailed them regarding a return or refund.. They got back to me so quickly that they fixed the error same day!!! Now for the shoe review.. as soon as I saw them in the box I fell in love with the color (it is a tad lighter but so cute!).. I fell even more in love with how they fit! I wear a 6 normally and I read that you should order a half size up.. DO IT! It fits perfectly, not snug.. just perfect! Enough room so your toes dont bunch up the front when youre walking in them.. They have a comfortable feel and I love the zipper in the back! Makes it so easy to slip on and off. Definitely a great buy!!

After reading reviews, I ordered a 10 even though I wear a 9 or 9 1/2. Both times, I was pleased with that decision. I am vegan and use no animal based products, so these boots being all man made material was required. Many vegan products are overpriced, but Top Moda boots have been a great value overall. They look like high quality leather, but no suffering was required. One last comment, I was happy that the buckles actually functioned to expand or tighten the straps. Super happy with my great boots.

Im wearing them at work right now with a pair of skinny jeans. I struggled a bit zipping them up, they were snug over my calves however, I just contribute that to just having a baby 8 weeks ago and my body/legs are still bigger than what they normally were.

Also they do not feel tight at my calves despite being tighter to get on, they loosened up and are comfy and very light boots. But if you are someone with very thick, meaty calves normally then these may not be for you. I'm 5'3", and about 150lbs now post baby and they just fit over skinny jeans. Just hoping that when I'm back to 120 that they will not be too loose, i'll update this if so. Im wearing them in the snow and no problem-dry feet all day. The sole is rubber, not that plastic crap you sometimes find, so these are perfect and safe for mommy carrying baby!!

Clarks Women's Breeze Sea Flip Flop

gives more secure footing than some sandals
I have been wearing slide type sandals for years because I couldn't tolerate the bar between the toe. I really wanted to wear something more up to date, and also more secure as many slides give you unstable footing. On QVC the people from Clark's said these would be more comfortable between the toes. I did not have a problem with these between the toes, but I did have a little rubbing on the top of my foot at that point at first. I should have slowly started to wear them at first instead of wearing them all day every day. But you may not have that problem, I happen to have very sensitive skin. I loved them so much when I found them on Amazon I watched the price and bought 5, YES, 5 colors when the price was right!

These were on sale compared to the price in the Clark's store and they're the exact same thing. Last year, I bought the Breeze Sea in teal. Today, I bought this sandal in one of the new colors--pink. They are the only sandal I wear in the summer--comfortable, adjustable, easy to clean, and stylish. During the winter I wear them in the house as slippers. Features

The original Mary Jane shoe, dating from the early 1900s, was worn primarily by young girls, was a low-heeled, round-toed slipper with a strap across the instep of the foot or around the ankle, and typically made of shiny black patent leather. Today, Mary Janes are still popular as formal shoes for young girls, though they have also been adapted as informal footwear for adult women. The adult version, while retaining the trademark strap, often features a high heel or platform sole.

History

According to Real Simple magazine, the most widely accepted theory is that Mary Jane was a character in the Buster Brown comic series, created by artist Richard Outcault in 1902. Buster Brown himself inspired a trademark brand of shoe. Depending on which variation of the story comes your way, Mary Jane starred as Buster Brown's sister or love interest.

Significance

Outcault traveled to the 1904 World's Fair and sold licenses to various companies to use his characters for their advertising campaigns. I ordered these boots, and they came within a week, Extremely fast shipping as always with Amazon.com. I first have to say that I have very fat feet, They were a little tight to get on, which is normal for me, But they stretched out wearing them around the house.
